POSITION SUMMARY
As a member of Descartes Legal team, you will be working in a dynamic environment providing administrative support to the Contract Administration Department, reporting to the Contract Administration Manager. This is a full-time position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide administrative support to the Contract Administration Department and Legal Department;
- Review customer documents for completeness;
- Document revision and basic drafting;
- Processing of new customer contracts using Descartes’ e-signature platform and customer contract cancellations through established close out procedures;
- May be required to enter customer and contract details into SAP Enterprise Resource Planning system;
- Respond to internal requests and inquiries for contractual documents, customer information;
- Organize file contents, scanning, saving to appropriate locations as required including uploading to SharePoint;
- Integrate acquired customer hard and soft copy documents from various office locations into current filing systems and processes; and
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous administrative office experience preferred. Contract administration experience an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, with basic knowledge of Excel and Access).
- Familiarity with SharePoint, DocuSign and SAP an asset.
- Ability to prioritize and balance conflicting deadlines and expectations while maintaining thoroughness and accuracy.
- Team oriented, with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to use a keyboard for 95% of the workday.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Goal oriented, positive, a self-starter, with strong organizational skills.
- Must work well under pressure and complete tasks in a timely fashion.
- Physical ability to handle boxed materials.
