Au niveau européen, un projet de loi très discuté sera débattu par les députés en septembre avec une mise en œuvre attendue pour début 2024. En Allemagne la loi sur la responsabilité des entreprises dans la supply chain (Gesetz über die unternehmerischen Sorgfaltspflichten in Lieferketten) est entrée en vigueur le 1er janvier 2023. Des lois similaires sont en vigueur ou en cours de préparation dans d’autres pays d’Europe. Et en France : quelles sont les implications du travail forcé dans la gestion de nos supply chains dans le monde ? Et comment créer des chaînes d’approvisionnement plus éthiques et responsables ?
La lutte contre le travail forcé dans nos supply chains mondialisées a pris de l’ampleur grâce à la médiatisation de la situation dramatique des populations ouïghoures dans la province du Xinjiang en Chine et aux propositions de loi qui ont émergées un peu partout en réaction.
Dans les principaux enseignements de l’enquête, les chiffres montrent que les 3 principaux problèmes de livraison rencontrés sont tous liés au non-respect des délais de livraison, ce qui peut avoir un impact fort sur les commerçants puisque bon nombre de consommateurs déclarent baser leur acte d’achat et de fidélité à une enseigne en fonction des performances de son service de livraison.
L’acquisition a été réalisée pour un montant de 30 millions de dollars. Créée en 2011, GreenMile est une entreprise américaine basée à Orlando (Floride) qui a développé une plateforme Saas de nouvelle génération intégrant du Machine Learning. Celle-ci vise à améliorer la satisfaction clients en optimisant les opérations liées aux livraisons du dernier kilomètre. Utilisées par de grandes entreprises agroalimentaires au monde, les solutions proposées par GreenMile permettent notamment d’avoir une visibilité en temps réel sur les opérations - grâce des applications mobiles - de gérer et d’optimiser les itinéraires, et de fournir des outils avancés d’analyse et de gestion des performances globales de livraison.
La crise du Covid-19 a mis en évidence plusieurs tendances qui, à mon sens, impacteront durablement les schémas et les processus de livraison. D’abord, il est désormais acté que le modèle de distribution 100% magasin est dépassé. Les entreprises du secteur ont tout intérêt à s’orienter vers un modèle mixte combinant physique et digital avec des passerelles entre les deux (click & collect, drive, etc.).
L’éditeur Descartes met à la disposition des entreprises françaises toute son expertise en matière de gestion et d’organisation des tournées de livraison, des flux de transport des chargeurs ainsi que de gestion des règlementations internationales en matière de compliance, de droits & taxes, et de classification des produits.
Ils diffèrent en fonction des dimensions que revêt la visibilité en termes de périmètre et de temporalité. En termes de périmètre, la visibilité peut couvrir : La supply chain de bout en bout. L’objectif est alors de maitriser la chaine d’approvisionnement dans son ensemble, depuis la production chez les fournisseurs jusqu'à la livraison chez les clients finaux. Le transport. L’objectif est de suivre l’état des expéditions, depuis le départ du site du fournisseur jusqu’au déchargement chez le client final en passant par d’éventuelles opérations de cross-docking, voire de transit sur des entrepôts.
Descartes annonce le rachat de la société canadienne ShipTrack. L'opération a été réalisée pour un montant de 25 millions de dollars canadiens et a pour objectif de compléter l'offre de Descartes sur le maillon du dernier kilomètre. Basé à Ottawa, ShipTrack commercialise une solution web de gestion et de suivi des expéditions en temps réel pour les transporteurs qui couvrent tous les aspects de communication vers les chargeurs et le consommateur final.
