Mohawk Global Logistics is a leading trade compliance-centric third party logistics provider. It offers international and domestic freight forwarding, customs brokerage and cargo insurance to companies in the Northeast and Midwest. To support its market expansion, Mohawk Global is using Descartes’ OneView™ Forwarder Enterprise and Customs House Brokerage (CHB) solution. Mohawk Global will also use the OneView solution to submit data to additional Partner Government Agencies (PGAs) via the U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) Automated Commercial Environment (ACE).

Having recently returned from a Descartes hosted-session in Toronto on the eManifest initiative, I can confirm that the trade is keenly interested in the third-phase of Canada’s ACI (Advanced Commercial Information) program.  The Q&A at the end of the event centered not only on the ‘Big Picture’ questions on the global regulatory landscape, but also focused on the practical: How will this affect me?
