Descartes’ Brexit Realities Report highlights the true impact of Brexit on supply chains – early preparation proved the key to avoid expensive disruption.
During February 2021, Descartes commissioned research to ascertain how business has, in reality, been affected by the changes Brexit brought and the level of certainty around the future.
The top level findings revealed:
- 9 in 10 companies have experienced disruption in their ability to trade in and out of the EU in 2021
- However, almost one fifth (19%) are actually thriving in a post-Brexit economy because they prepared early
