We listened to input from customers and we are pleased to announce the launch of our new Descartes Education and Training Center, a learning center specifically designed to provide quality training material/videos for our customers. Our initial rollout includes Descartes Route Planner™ and Descartes Highway Carrier Portal™.

Our goals for this learning center include helping our customers learn more about Descartes solutions and how they can help users improve operations, gain a better understanding of a solution’s core capabilities, and learn from implementation best practices. The Descartes Education and Training Center uses the leading online cloud-based training platform called MindFlash, which we selected based on the broad range of features available to enable us to provide a high-quality, customer-focused training center.

The Descartes Education and Training Center will be made available through the following channels:

  • Computer-based training - Utilizes self-study methodology where customers learn at their own pace on their schedule;
  • On-site training at Customer Location - Customized and scalable for more targeted results;
  • Descartes Learning Center Location: Topic-specific, in-class training to enable participants to their share experiences and incorporate best practices.

We will continually add and update the product training material library and are already working on the next phases, to include Descartes Mobile™, Descartes WinRoute™, and Descartes wGLN™.
