Web-based Training
Subscription based training enables users to learn at their own pace and on their own schedule.
Descartes Academy delivers online, web-based education through a modern digital learning environment designed to provide a high-quality, customer-focused experience. The platform supports scalable learning across global organizations, enabling teams to build knowledge efficiently and consistently.
Web-based learning provides an effective way to onboard new employees, support users who are new to a solution area, and reinforce expertise for experienced professionals. Structured courses, guided learning paths, and topic-specific modules help ensure users gain practical, role-relevant knowledge.
Access to Descartes Academy is subscription-based, allowing learners to follow a self-paced methodology that fits their schedule and operational priorities. The course catalog is organized by solution area and topic, and includes recorded sessions, structured modules, and supporting reference materials. Each participant is provided with secure, individual login credentials to access the training materials included in their subscription.

Live online seminar or web based training, is where participants in different remote locations join allowing them to hear the presenter, ask questions, and sometimes answer polls. This training channel is perfect for short training sessions (max three hours) dedicated to a specific subject. Moreover, it allows the training program to be setup in different modules spread over a longer time period.
On-site training can be customized and scalable leading to more targeted results. It is typically used in conjunction with the implementation of a new solution. The Descartes Academy team will work together with your team to put together a customized training plan, then provide the guidelines and materials for the training session(s).
If you would prefer, we also offer a Train-the-Trainer option. First, we will conduct a complete on-site Solution Immersion Program with your company’s facilitators attending as participants, this will be followed with a Train-the-Trainer Workshop.
This in-class training will be conducted at the Descartes Learning Center and will likely include attendees from more than one company. The sessions are designed to be fast-paced and interactive. Participants will work together and learn about the solutions. The classroom-style training enables participants from different companies to share their experiences and best practices. The training sessions will not only include the technical aspects of the solution, but will also include practical, real-world situations, challenges and solutions through hands-on activities, question and answer period with experienced industry experts and the ability to network with fellow participants.
The in-class training at a Descartes Learning Center location will be available at various dates/times throughout the year in the U.S., Canada and Europe. Future classes will be developed based on the demand for training on a particular solution.
